Will I have a backyard if I purchase a villa?

While most all villas have a green space just outside their back door, some villas have fenced in yards and some do not. All the back and front yards are considered common ground and maintained by the landscape services of the HOA.

What is the closest hospital or doctor office?

There are lots of local doctors and hospitals to select from in Southlake and the surrounding areas. The Watermere transportation will gladly coordinate your safe arrival to and from doctors office within a 15 mile radius.

What are the monthly HOA fees?

The monthly fees are $2500. This amount includes a $300 food and beverage allowance. If there are two residents, then you must add $300 a month for the second person. The monthly dues include various utilities, housekeeping, transportation, all the events and activities at the Club House. We encourage you to look at the expenses you are currently paying in your home. After you compare and evaluate you will see the benefits of Watermere at Southlake.

You can eliminate these bills along with all the hassles of coordinating them with outside vendors and subcontractors.

Does everyone who lives in Watermere at Southlake have to be 55 years of age?

All occupants of your home are required to be 55 years old or older. Kids and grandkids are encouraged to visit, but a two week stay is absolutely permissible.

What is there to do at Watermere at Southlake?

You can find something to do every day at Watermere, and the monthly calendar will help you plan your day. The calendar will list events such as water aerobics, yoga, day trips to museums or a game of poker.

What is the difference between a villa and a condo?

Condos are located in a 4 story mid-rise building with elevators. Condos are smaller than villas, and the condo building is conveniently attached to the club house for ease of access. Villas are located in 2 gated communities and they offer one and two story floorplans with front porches, back porches and attached garages. If you live in a villa, you must walk over to the club house along sidewalks and pathways.
